How we work
Health surveillance and risk assessment answer different questions — one monitors worker health, the other evaluates workplace exposure — and it's common for the two to get blurred into a single generic "HAVS check". We keep them separate, in the service you book and in what we tell you about it.
Within surveillance, we don't default every worker to the most intensive tier. HSE guidance sets out a tiered approach starting with a questionnaire, escalating to clinical assessment and formal diagnosis only where a response actually indicates it. Tier 4 diagnosis is staged against the modified Stockholm Workshop Scale, not an in-house scoring system.
Where pricing is concerned, we don't publish a flat rate that ignores what's actually involved at each tier — every enquiry gets a quote based on your workforce and the service required.
